Day 1 Curriculum

• Why CEO School was started
• Creating the appropriate entity for your company to reduce risk and exposure to liability
• Building your mission statement and business plan based on your unique vision
• Identifying industries and niches within industries
• Honing and trusting your executive vision and trusting your senses in executing that vision
• Creating a pro forma, financial projections, and other documents for purposes of establishing budgets and seeking funding (if you should seek funding)
• Whether or not you should seek funding
• Implementing a budget and using accounting and financial analytics to enhance decision making
• Understanding the difference between financial analytics and traditional accounting/bookkeeping
• The importance of financial reporting and what to seek in monthly profit and loss statements, projections and balance sheets

• The importance of human resources
• How to onboard and offboard team members
• Team member benefits and benefit plans

• Use of legal resources
• The importance of contracts in all facets of your business
• Understanding the synergy of personal and professional goals: emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually and financially
